Arsenal defender Stefan O’Connor is on trial at Dutch second division side MVV Maastricht.
The centre-back has made one appearance for the Arsenal first-team, which came against Galatasaray two seasons’ ago.
O’Connor spent part of last season on loan at York City. It isn’t currently clear whether Maastricht intend to sign him on loan or on a permanent deal.

If it is a loan, then I am happy Arsenal are looking outside English football for our young English players.
If it is permanent then I am not surprised, interesting to see if we bring in anyone from outside the club to replace him.
