A talented centre-back who has been capped by Tunisia at senior level, Rekik will spend this season on loan at Sparta Rotterdam.
It represents a first loan spell away from Arsenal for Rekik, who joined from Hertha Berlin in January 2021.
Strong physically and possessing impressive technical ability, Rekik featured for the first-team in pre-season in 2021.
The youngster has had some injury problems to deal with but has usually given a good account of himself when fit.
