It was another frustrating season for Hillson in terms of playing time, with the goalkeeper not making a single appearance at any level.
However, there were still some significant moments to take from the campaign as he travelled with the first-team to Scotland for pre-season, while he was the third choice goalkeeper against Manchester United at Old Trafford.
In the 2020/21 campaign Hillson received his first senior call-up as he was on the bench against Slavia Prague in the Europa League.
Hillson initially joined Arsenal on loan from Reading in January 2019 before making the deal permanent later that year.
This season he will hope to get some experience of senior football, perhaps through a loan spell.
