A tall forward who is a product of Arsenal’s Hale End academy, Vigar earned his first professional contract having made an impact for the U18s.
Vigar struggled with injuries for much of his time as a scholar but was available in the second half of last season and scored in three consecutive games for the U18s against West Bromwich Albion, Brighton & Hove Albion and Southampton.
Towards the end of the season Vigar had a spell as a right winger, which helped to develop his all-round game.
This season the youngster will be part of Arsenal’s U21 squad.
