After an injury ravaged first season at the club, Salah-Eddine stepped up last campaign to become a key player for the U21s.
The former Feyenoord youngster is capable of performing effectively as an attacking midfielder or out wide and possesses excellent technical ability.
Last season Salah-Eddine scored five goals in 16 Premier League 2 fixtures.
In addition, he was named on the bench for the first-team in the Premier League, the FA Cup and the League Cup.
The Dutch youth international will look for involvement in first-team football this season, whether at Arsenal or out on loan.
