A speedy winger who can also play up front, Butler-Oyedeji had to be patient for chances in his first full season with the U23s.
The Hale End product, who is known for his flair, was used sparingly in the first half of the campaign but was often used as a substitute as the season wore on.
Butler-Oyedeji made an impact off the bench against Middlesbrough in the Premier League Cup but he is still searching for his first goal for the second-string.
This season Butler-Oyedeji will hope to establish himself as one of the main players for the U21s.
