Gilmour, Thompson and Pleguezuelo amongst nine youngsters to train with Arsenal first-team during international break

It may be the international break, but first-team training is continuing as usual for Arsenal, with a host of youngsters making up the numbers.

James Olayinka, Tolaji Bola, Charlie Gilmour, Julio Pleguezuelo, Joseph Olowu, Tobi Omole, Zech Medley, Nathan Tormey and Dominic Thompson all trained with Unai Emery’s squad.

As far as first-team players are concerned, Emiliano Martinez, Nacho Monreal, Shkodran Mustafi, Hector Bellerin, Sead Kolasinac, Alex Lacazette, Carl Jenkinson, Stephan Lichtsteiner and Rob Holding all trained. Laurent Koscielny is in light training.

Bernd Leno, Danny Welbeck, Aaron Ramsey, Lucas Torreira, Henrikh Mkhitaryan, Granit Xhaka, Sokratis, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Alex Iwobi and Mohamed Elneny are all on international duty.

Meanwhile, Mesut Ozil, Petr Cech, Ainsley Maitland-Niles and Konstantinos Mavropanos remain sidelined.

Regarding U23 players, Eddie Nketiah, Joe Willock, Robbie Burton, Tyreece John-Jules, Arthur Okonkwo, Bukayo Saka are among those on international duty.
