Hale End product Nelson, a winger, was promoted to the Arsenal first-team squad in 2019.
Nelson previously gained experience on loan at Hoffenheim and he spent the majority of the 2021/22 campaign at Feyenoord. He scored a memorable goal for Arsenal against Bournemouth in 2023.
As an academy player Nelson was extremely highly regarded and he helped the U23s to win the Premier League 2 title in 2018.
