Arsenal youngster Kamarni Ryan on trial at Watford

Kamarni Ryan is on trial at Watford after being told that he wouldn’t be offered a professional contract at Arsenal.

Ryan, who joined Arsenal from Chelsea as a schoolboy, featured for Watford’s U21 side against Millwall this week, as reported by Sebastien.

The skilful 18-year-old can play as an attacking midfielder or winger.

Ryan scored three goals and provided three assists for Arsenal U18s this season and was also called up to the U21 squad in the EFL Trophy.

  1. Biereth scored his first European goal tonight, Graz’s equalizer against Lille. Well, the ball barely skimmed his forehead, but he did have the last touch – Attaboy.

      1. Yes, indeed!

The lad looks like the real deal. With 24-y-o Havertz as MA’s first choice CF now, I don’t think he has a future in North London, though, but it shouldn’t be too hard to get him a decent “big-5” club.

Quite a lot of Ligue 1 clubs could do with such a reliable striker, that I’m sure of, but the football that’d suit him best would be open, free-flowing, attack-minded Bundesliga’s imo …

  2. Well I hope that Ryan won’t have been judged too harshly on his trial at Vicarage Road as a poor Watford side lost 7-0 to Millwall.
