Arsenal U18 game postponed as team bus went to Bournemouth instead of Brighton

Arsenal U18s’ game away to Brighton & Hove Albion today was postponed after the team coach ended up in Bournemouth instead.

Arsenal team: Rojas; Ferdinand, Kacurri, W. Sweet, Brown; Shuaib, Akolbire, Copley; Oyetunde, Cotcher, Benjamin.

Subs: Cooper, C. Ismail, Ryan, Obi-Martin.

  1. I’m no expert on British motorway issues, but in most countries taking the wrong turn would result in a 10-12 minutes by-pass assuming it is realized soon enough. So it sounds like an excuse than an actual explanation.
(Unless the driver took the turn against the flow of traffic and was arrested on the spot.)

  2. While I’m at it, today’s game felt like a game of Quidditch, with Slytherin on, and reffed/VARed by Snape …
