Arsenal goalkeeper Hubert Graczyk joins Slough Town on loan

Arsenal U21s goalkeeper Hubert Graczyk has joined Slough Town on a season-long loan.

It represents a first loan spell for the Polish youth international as he gets set to test himself in the National League South.

Graczyk was the main goalkeeper for Arsenal U21s last season and has amassed 38 appearances at that level.

In addition he has had some first-team recognition as he travelled with the squad to Dubai last season and was also the third choice goalkeeper on some occasions.

During his loan spell Graczyk could face Arsenal team-mate Billy Vigar, who has been loaned out to Eastbourne Borough.

It remains to be seen who Arsenal’s first choice goalkeeper will be at U21 level this season. James Hillson is still at the club but is in need of a loan spell, while Ovie Ejeheri recently returned from a successful stint at SJK. Noah Cooper and Alexei Rojas, who are still eligible to play for the U18s this season, are currently with the U21s in Spain.
