Exclusive: Schoolboy Myles Lewis-Skelly selected for Arsenal first-team training camp in Dubai

Arsenal schoolboy Myles Lewis-Skelly has been selected to travel with the first-team squad for their training camp in Dubai.

The hugely talented midfielder has recently broken into Arsenal’s U21 squad at the age of 16, featuring as a substitute against Northampton Town and Monaco B.

Arsenal are set to fly to Dubai on December 4th before playing Lyon on December 8th and AC Milan on December 13th. As a result of his involvement with the first-team, Lewis-Skelly could miss the U18s’ FA Youth Cup third round fixture at home to Millwall.

An England U17 international, Lewis-Skelly is undoubtedly one of the most talented youngsters at the club and has much potential.

Lewis-Skelly frequently draws fouls from opposition players and relishes pushing forward to support the attack. He has excellent technical ability and is now looking to develop defensively.

He scored on his debut for the U18s as an U14 player against Reading in May 2021.

The prospect has been involved in first-team training sessions recently and will be part of next season’s scholarship intake if he chooses to stay at the club.
