Striker Khayon Edwards is travelling with the Arsenal first-team squad for tomorrow’s game against Leeds United.
It is the first time that Edwards has travelled with the squad for a Premier League game and comes after he was named on the bench against Bodo/Glimt on Thursday, which was his maiden senior callup.
Edwards is the only academy player who has travelled with the squad for the Leeds game. It was reported earlier that Gabriel Jesus is a doubt for the fixture because of injury.
19-year-old Edwards has often impressed for Arsenal at youth level and has been involved in first-team training sessions.
