Henry Jeffcott, James Sweet and Billy Vigar, the three remaining second year scholars from last season, are set to sign their first professional contracts with Arsenal.
As reported by Saxon on Twitter, all three players were named in the squad for tonight’s opening U21 pre-season friendly away to Woking.
Jeffcott is capable of playing at centre-back or left-back and is a Northern Ireland youth international.
Meanwhile, Sweet can play as a midfielder or at right-back and weighed in with nine assists for the U18s last season.
Hard-working striker Vigar scored four goals in his 22 appearances for the U18s across the last two seasons.
It has already been confirmed that Mauro Bandeira and Taylor Foran have signed professional contracts, with Charles Sagoe Jr’s deal expected to be announced soon.
