Arsenal youngster Elian Quesada-Thorn, 16, called up to Costa Rica U20 squad

First-year scholar Elian Quesada-Thorn has received his maiden call-up to the Costa Rica U20 squad.

Quesada-Thorn, 16, will be part of the Costa Rica youth squad for two friendlies against Mexico, for whom Marcelo Flores is set be in action.

Capable of playing at left-back or as a winger, Quesada-Thorn is also eligible to represent England, the Republic of Ireland or Sweden.

Quesada-Thorn made his debut for Arsenal U18s as a schoolboy and recently returned from a spell out injured.

In total he has made six appearances for the U18s.
