Balogun, Azeez and Flores train with Arsenal first-team

Folarin Balogun was amongst a host of Arsenal youngsters involved in first-team training on Friday.

It was the first time that Balogun had trained with the senior squad since last season, with the striker’s future at Arsenal still unresolved.

The 19-year-old is into the final year of his current deal at Arsenal and has yet to commit to a new contract.

Meanwhile, hugely talented midfielders Miguel Azeez, Marcelo Flores and Catalin Cirjan were also in attendance along with goalkeeper Karl Hein.

Ben Cottrell and James Olayinka were also selected to train with Mikel Arteta’s squad, as was defender Harry Clarke.

The majority of the aforementioned players are set to be involved when Arsenal U23s face Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday, while Flores could feature for the U18s against Crystal Palace.

  1. List Folarin Balogun in the first team, but playing or not playing is another issue.
He should play him in the Carabao cup

    1. I hope Arteta finds a way to persuade Bolagun to stay. It would be awful to see such a young talent leave for free. I can imagine many years of Bolagun and Eddie and Saka up front for the first team. Arsenal since young and staying together forever would be great for them, great for the fans and great for the club.
