Talented winger Bukayo Saka is set to sign his first professional contract with Arsenal.
Saka, who turned 17 yesterday, is currently on international duty with England U18s but is poised to put pen to paper on a new deal once he returns to London Colney.
The winger only signed scholarship terms in the summer and has proceeded to make a major impact as a substitute for the U23s, providing two assists in four games at that level.
Last season Saka featured prominently for the U18s while he was still a schoolboy and was involved in the FA Youth Cup final.
A product of Arsenal’s Hale End system, Saka is typically deployed on the left wing, with his low crosses causing havoc for opposing defences.
