Queens Park Rangers have taken winger Aaron Eyoma on trial from Arsenal.
The versatile youngster has been on the periphery of proceedings for Arsenal at U23 level this season, making just four appearances in Premier League 2 despite being one of the oldest players in the squad.
Eyoma was highly rated as a schoolboy but, now aged 20, it has become increasingly apparent that he will have to leave Arsenal in an attempt to carve out a career elsewhere.
Last season Eyoma, who can also play as a full-back, a central-midfielder or up front, gained experience while on loan with Volendam in the Dutch second division.
Eyoma featured today for QPR’s U23 side away to Colchester United, although it isn’t currently clear whether the Championship side are considering signing him permanently or on a loan deal.
