Loanees- Ogogo sent off on Barnet farewell, Fonte+Hoyte complete loan spells + Simpson and Botelho

Abu Ogogo- Barnet 1 Port Vale 2

Abu was sent-off at Underhill as his Barnet career ended in disastrous fashion.

Making his first start for over two months, the right-back was dismissed on the stroke of half-time for handling the ball on the line.

Danny Glover stepped up to take the resulting penalty and, although he saw his spot-kick saved by Bees’ keeper Ran Kadoch, he lashed home the re-bound to make it 2-0.

Earlier, Louis Dodds had put Vale ahead from 20 yards and so it proved that Danny Hart’s late strike for Barnet was rendered obsolete.

It was Ogogo’s second red card in his short spell at Barnet and he is likely to be released when his contract expires on the 30th June.

Jay Simpson- Tottenham 1 West Brom 0

Jay found himself dropped to the bench for his return to North London.

Spurs won 1-0 thanks to a Jermaine Jenas strike two minutes before the break, as Croatian playmaker Luka Modric ran the show.

Jay did finally enter the fray on 58 minutes when he replaced left-back Paul Robinson and looked bright with some clever runs down the right-flank, but didn’t have any clear-cut chances.

Rui Fonte- Crystal Palace 0 Sheffield United 0

Rui completed his loan spell at Palace by coming on for the final 40 minutes as Crystal Palace held Sheffield United to a goalless draw at Selhurst Park.

Rui will now return to Arsenal ahead of next season.

Gavin Hoyte- Watford 3 Derby 1

Gavin played 65 minutes before being substituted as Watford ended their season with a convincing 3-1 victory over Derby at Vicarage Road.

Playing at right-back, Gavin impressed with some lung-busting runs before being replaced by Lee Hodson on 65 minutes.

Jobi McAnuff put the Hornets ahead, before a Grzegorz Rasiak brace made it 3-0. John Eustace pulled one back for the Rams nine minutes from time, but it proved to be too little, too late for the visitors.

Pedro Botelho- Cordoba 0 Salamanca 2

Pedro played the whole game as Salamanca eased to a 2-0 win over Cordoba last night.

  1. Barazite been rubbish for debry and so has rui fonte for palace. They need to develop physically ie stamina, and adapt to the pace of the championship which is quicker than the premiership.
Gavin Hoyte been rubbish as well hes make alot of mistakes according to watford fans. Jay simpson been totally ineffective. Cant see him playin for arsenal.

The only good players on loan were kerrea gilbert, henri lansbury and pedro botelho. I lansbury and Botelho have a future with arsenal

  2. thats true but gibbs was a very good player. I dont rate gavin hoyte at all, hes not tall enough to play centre half, physically not strong, not composed enough, and lacks inteligence. All hes got his electric pace. Someone Luke Ayling looks a much better centre half
