Brazilian forward Wellington and Japanese trialist Ryo Miyaichi have been named in the Arsenal Reserves squad to face Boreham Wood at Meadow Park this evening.
If he features, then it will be Wellington’s first appearance at this level for the Gunners, whilst Japanese under-19 international Miyaichi has previously been on trial at Ajax.
Neil Banfield can call upon Wojciech Szczesny for tonight’s fixture, whilst Havard Nordtveit also returns to the Reserves after representing the first-team during pre-season. Kyle Bartley is back following his shoulder problem, whilst Thomas Cruise returns from his participation at the UEFA u-19 European Championships.

Interesting to see conflicting statements, as Chris Harris on .com said don’t be surprised to see Havard in the game against Legia. Clearly, do be surprised – he’s not omnipresent 🙂
technically, he could still feature against legia. I think he will be involved as first-team cover this season but will still play for the reserves when he needs some game time.
