Tyrell Robinson has left Arsenal after his contract was terminated by mutual consent.

The 19-year-old has been on the cusp of leaving the club for some time having been frustrated by the decision of the coaching staff to deploy him at left-back rather than in his preferred position on the left wing.

Robinson progressed through the ranks at Arsenal’s Hale End academy and went on to sign scholarship terms in 2014 and subsequently a professional contract.

The Basildon-born youngster trained with the first-team on several occasions and featured for what was then the U21s and in the UEFA Youth League.

However, his departure has been rather inevitable over the past year. Robinson was linked with a move to West Ham United last summer, while he has had trials with West Bromwich Albion and Queens Park Rangers.
