Max Dowman scores as Arsenal U16s win Liam Brady Cup final against Flamengo

Highly rated schoolboy Max Dowman scored the only goal as Arsenal U16s beat their Flamengo counterparts 1-0 at Hale End today to win the Liam Brady Cup.

Dowman, who has already made a major impact for Arsenal at U18 level, also featured as the U16s overcame Celtic in the semi-finals.

During a superb season, Dowman, who is technically an U14 player, trained with the Arsenal first-team and also featured for England U16s.

The likes of Owen Asemota, Khari Ranson, Andre Annous, Louis Zecevic John and Josh Ogunnaike were part of the squad.

  1. Hi Jeorge

are there any stand out under 16s in your opinion other than Max Dowman who is playing above his age group or even under 15s who you think stand out too

      1. Did you see Björgvin Brimi play he looks like to be the new best future star its just like watching someone like Phil Foden and prime Eden Hazard play. Björgvin Brimi is a player to watch out for next upcoming year.
