A midfielder from whom much is expected, Azeez spent the first half of last season on loan at Portsmouth.
Although the move didn’t go entirely to plan, Azeez still gained valuable experience and it is anticipated that he could be loaned out again this season.
Azeez made his competitive debut for the Arsenal first-team against Dundalk in the Europa League in 2020 and he made an impact in pre-season in 2021. He has also been on the bench in the Premier League.
Possessing impressive technique and a fine passing range, Azeez has worked hard to improve the defensive side of his game.
This is an important season for the youngster as he aims to really push on in his development.
