58. Marcus McGuane

A skilful schoolboy who progressed steadily through the club’s Hale End academy, Marcus (previously known as Marcus Agyei-Tabi) made a substantial impact for Arsenal at U18 level last season.

Capable of playing out wide but most at home as a central-midfielder, Marcus, who made his debut for the U18s against Fulham during the previous campaign, went on to feature twelve times at that level last season, scoring once.

He was subsequently rewarded with a scholarship deal ahead of the new campaign and ended the season by representing the Republic of Ireland at the U17 European Championships.

This season he is expected to feature regularly for the U18s again, whilst he will also have designs on breaking into the U21 squad.
