A hugely talented left-back, Sousa continued to make impressive progress during his first full season at Arsenal.
Signed from West Bromwich Albion in January 2022, the defender quickly established himself in Arsenal’s U21 side and became a regular at that level last season. He was also part of the U18 team that got to the final of the FA Youth Cup.
Sousa frequently trained with the first-team and was named on the bench for the Premier League game away to Brentford as well as being involved in the Winter training camp in Dubai.
A player who is effective both defensively and in an attacking sense, Sousa looks to have a bright future ahead of him and is now looking to push on to first-team involvement in some capacity.
