The Hale End product was a regular for the non-league side, earning rave reviews for many of his 36 appearances. Under the terms of the loan agreement he was still able to play every minute of Arsenal’s run to the FA Youth Cup Semi-Finals, turning in outstanding performances away to Charlton Athletic and Chelsea. He capped off an impressive campaign by signing his first professional contract with Arsenal.

The youngster also featured as a substitute in the UEFA Youth League against Barcelona following the dismissal of Deyan Iliev and made his debut for the U21s during the previous campaign.

This season he is no longer eligible for U18 football, so will be hoping to be involved in the second-string, although he faces considerable competition in that regard from fellow shot-stopper Matt Macey.
