66. Jon Toral

Cultured Spanish midfielder Jon enjoyed a hugely successful loan spell with Brentford last season and will be back in the Championship this campaign with Birmingham City.

Tall and an intelligent passer of the ball, Jon wasn’t always a regular starter at Griffin Park but he made a significant impact during his time on the field, scoring six goals in 37 appearances.

The former Spanish youth international is most at home as a central-midfielder, but he is also capable of operating out wide if required.

Jon has developed well since joining Arsenal from Barcelona’s La Masia academy in 2011. He has made numerous appearances for the club at youth level and has also featured for the first-team in pre-season friendlies.

This season he will be hoping to impress again in the Championship with Birmingham as he seeks to prove that he is capable of making the grade in the long term at Arsenal.
