41. Isaac Hayden (On loan at Hull City, until May 2016)

A versatile and hard-working player, Isaac further enhanced his reputation last season as one of the club’s best current prospects.

Capable of operating as a defensive-midfielder or at centre-back, the England U19 international made his Arsenal first-team debut last season against West Bromwich Albion in the Capital One Cup.

A player who is adept at winning the ball back, Isaac’s passing ability also drastically improved last season and a measure of his progress came as he was named on the bench for Premier League fixtures against Liverpool and Manchester United.

Occasionally guilty of committing over-zealous challenges, Isaac continued to be a regular at U21 level last season, captaining the side on several occasions. He found the net against Liverpool and Reading and also played three times in the UEFA Youth League.

Isaac is set to experience more first-team football this season, most likely through the medium of a loan spell.

  1. have to say, been impressed by isaac when watching him, even though there are rare occasions you are able to watch the arsenal reserves nowadays. stamina, physical presence, good passer, brave. has done well when playing dm. since i believe we lack a cb in the first team coming through the own ranks i would like to see him there.
