The oldest player in the youth setup at the age of 26, Iliev has been at Arsenal since 2012.
The goalkeeper has been named on the bench for the first-team on several occasions, including for the Europa League final against Chelsea in 2019.
Last season Iliev went on loan to Shrewsbury Town but made just three appearances, with injury not helping his cause.
Iliev has now rejoined Sered on loan, having previously had a spell with the Slovakian side in the 2019/20 campaign. He also previously spent time on loan with Jagiellonia Bialystok in Poland.
Earlier in his time at Arsenal, Iliev spent two years out injured before bouncing back to feature for the U23s in 2018.
It is anticipated that Iliev, who has been called up by Macedonia at senior level, will leave Arsenal permanently when his contract expires in the summer of 2022.
