51. Chiori Johnson

Athletic right-back Chiori packed a lot into his 2014/15 season as he signed professional terms, broke into the U21 squad and also featured in the UEFA Youth League.

A product of Arsenal’s Hale End academy, Chiori first featured for Arsenal U18s as a schoolboy and he racked up several more appearances at that level before making his U21 debut as a substitute against Blackburn Rovers. Further opportunities in the second-string followed, whilst the youngster was also heavily involved in the U19s’ European exploits.

Chiori struggled with injuries towards the end of the campaign but he returned to feature for the U18s against Fulham in the final game of the season and will be hopeful of remaining fit this season.

The youngster will look to feature prominently for the U21s as he competes with Tafari Moore for a place in the side.
