54. Brandon Ormonde-Ottewill

Forward-thinking left-back Brandon gained further valuable experience of U21 football last season.

The England U19 international established himself as the club’s first-choice left-back at U21 level, and, although his form wavered a little throughout the campaign, there were some positives to take, most notably his goal away to Norwich City.

The youngster, who has trained with the Arsenal first-team on several occasions, was also a regular in the UEFA Youth League and the FA Youth Cup. This season he will again be a regular for the U21s and may have an outside chance of breaking into the Capital One Cup squad.

I think it’s a joke – perhaps by the REAL Nathan Redmond – quality prospect. Why don’t you come to Arsenal Nate?

I think that he’ll have a successful season at Reserve level this season, if he has a great start to the season, who says he couldn’t get called up for some Capital One Cup games.

According to ‘The Nowhere Men’ by Michael Calvin, where he spent a year following/ liaising with a number of notable football scouts, Ormonde-Ottewill is regarded as the best left sided prospect to come through Arsenal since Ashley Cole, and is possibly the reason we didn’t move for Luke Shaw when he was available for £2 million.
