An attacking midfielder who is rated very highly, Nwaneri scored on his debut for Arsenal U18s against Reading at the age of just 14 in May 2021.
Last season he featured five times for the U18s, scoring twice and providing two assists.
An England U17 international, Nwaneri has much flair and isn’t fazed under pressure.
Nwaneri joined Arsenal as an U9 player and has frequently played above his age group. He is also capable of playing up front or out wide.
Although he can still play for the U16s this season he was instead promoted to the U18 squad on a full-time basis.
After impressing for the U18s, Nwaneri made his debut for the U21s against Blackburn Rovers. Two weeks later he became the youngest ever player in Arsenal and Premier League history when he made his first-team debut away to Brentford aged 15 years and 121 days.
