54. Jeff Reine-Adelaide

An exciting youngster signed from Lens in the summer of 2015, Jeff made a substantial impression for the first-team during pre-season.

The prospect, who usually operates on the left flank, was initially named in Arsenal’s squad for the Barclays Asia Trophy but was a last-minute withdrawal. However, he was involved in the Emirates Cup and, after an encouraging cameo against Lyon, he caught the eye with an assist and all-round impressive performance on the second day of the tournament against Wolfsburg.

Possessing excellent close-control and searing pace, Jeff is eligible to feature at U18 level this season, but is instead likely to be heavily involved in the U21s. Depending on how he progresses, he could also feature for the first-team competitively, perhaps in the Capital One Cup.

Jeff, who can also featured as a central-attacking midfielder, was part of the French side that won the U17 European Championships this summer. He is no stranger to a first-team environment having been called up to the Lens senior squad late last season.
