Hale End product Ainsley made tremendous strides last season as he made an unexpectedly early foray into first-team football.
After starting the season in fine form for the U21s, the youngsters was ushered into the senior set-up and proceeded to make his debut in the Premier League, FA Cup and Champions League, whilst also training with the first-team on many occasions.
It was at U21 level, though, where he really thrived, with the youngster relishing a switch to central-midfield having previously been mainly deployed as a winger.
Ainsley was one of the most consistent performers for Arsenal at youth level and he scored a spectacular strike for the second-string against Stoke City, whilst also featuring prominently in the UEFA Youth League.
The England U18 international has long been highly regarded at Arsenal having featured in the NextGen Series when he was still a schoolboy.
This season Ainsley, who is fast, skilful and direct, will be on loan with Ipswich Town in the Championship as he looks to develop further.
