Nathan Butler-Oyedeji trains with Arsenal first-team ahead of Watford game

Arsenal youngster Nathan Butler-Oyedeji was involved in first-team training today as the squad prepared for tomorrow’s game away to Watford.

Capable of playing as a winger or a striker, Butler-Oyedeji came on as a late substitute as Arsenal U23s beat Tottenham Hotspur last night.

A product of the club’s Hale End academy, the 19-year-old signed professional terms last summer but has found regular playing time at U23 level hard to come by.

Butler-Oyedeji is a fast and skilful player who will hope for further opportunities for the second-string in the near future.

Right-back Zak Swanson trained with the squad and is likely to be on the bench for the first-team against Watford.

Midfielder Salah-Eddine, who was suspended for last night’s U23 game, took part in the session at London Colney.

Centre-back Jonathan Dinzeyi was also involved in first-team training. Dinzeyi hasn’t played for the U23s since returning from a frustrating loan spell at Carlisle United.
