Talented young striker Henry Timi Davies has signed his first professional contract with Arsenal.
Davies, who turned 17 recently, was previously at Manchester City and joined Arsenal towards the end of last season. He becomes the second member of this year’s batch of scholars to sign professional terms after Amani Richards did so earlier today.
The prospect was called up by the U23s in pre-season but hasn’t played competitively for the U18s in the league so far this campaign due to intense competition for places.
However, it is expected that the youngster, who is fast and possesses impressive technical ability, will be involved in the near future.
Davies recently featured on the left wing for the U17s against Charlton Athletic and produced an encouraging display.
