Loan report – Bellerin helps Real Betis beat Barcelona; Azeez and Moller in action

Hector Bellerin played the whole game as Real Betis beat Barcelona 1-0.

William Saliba and Matteo Guendouzi played 90 minutes as Marseille lost 2-1 to Brest.

Konstantinos Mavropanos played the full game as Stuttgart drew 2-2 Hertha Berlin.

Nikolaj Moller was brought on at the start of the second half as Viktoria Koln were beaten 4-0 by Kaiserslautern.

Lucas Torreira played 85 minutes and was booked as Fiorentina won 3-2 against Bologna.

Alex Runarsson was in action as OH-Leuven lost 1-0 to Gent.

Reiss Nelson was brought on in the 67th minute as Feyenoord beat Fortuna Sittard 5-0.

Daniel Ballard didn’t feature in Millwall’s 3-1 win against Birmingham City because of injury.

Harry Clarke missed out through suspension as Ross County drew 0-0 with St. Mirren.

Deyan Iliev missed Sered’s 4-2 win against Trencin due to injury.

Tom Smith missed out due to injury as Welling United lost 2-0 to Eastbourne Borough.

Jordi Osei-Tutu wasn’t involved in Nottingham Forest’s 2-0 win against Peterborough United.

Tyreece John-Jules wasn’t involved as Blackpool lost 3-0 to Luton Town.

FA Cup second round

Miguel Azeez played 90 minutes and was booked as Portsmouth lost 2-1 to Harrogate Town.

Jonathan Dinzeyi was an unused substitute as Carlisle United lost 2-1 to Shrewsbury Town.

Matt Smith played the whole game as Doncaster Rovers lost 3-2 to Shrewsbury Town.

  1. I saw that Azeez received some quite harsh criticism from Portsmouth fans after the game, it was tbh on Twitter so it can’t be taken as a majority view but it’s disappointing all the same.

    Of course, just because some Pompey fans are venting on Social Media it doesn’t follow that Azeez had such a poor game, maybe he’s finding it more difficult away from the comfort blanket of Arsenal than everyone expected but maybe and hopefully he’s actually still developing both technically and in character terms?
