According to Sport Express, Arsenal U16 goalkeeper Alexei Rojas Fedorushchenko will train with the first-team at London Colney today.
Fedorushchenko, a Colombian youth international who is also eligible to represent England or Russia, is very highly rated at Arsenal.
The youngster frequently plays for the U16s, where he is competing with Brian Okonkwo, and he has already been on the bench for the U18s this season.
The prospect is an excellent distributor of the ball and has superb reflexes.
There is something of a shortage of available goalkeepers at London Colney at present. Aaron Ramsdale and Bernd Leno are on intenrnational duty, while Karl Hein suffered an jnjury playing for the U23s last weekend.
Schoolboy goalkeepers training with the first-team is quite unusual, although it isn’t entirely heard of – Arthur Okonkwo did so in 2017.
Young professional Ovie Ejeheri warmed up with the first-team goalkeepers at Emirates Stadium on Sunday ahead of the game against Watford.
