Polish prospect Michal Rosiak receives first Arsenal U18s callup

Schoolboy midfielder Michal Rosiak has received his first callup to the Arsenal U18s squad.

A creative player, Rosiak, who usually plays for the U16s, was named on the bench for the U18s away to Norwich City today.

Rosiak, a Poland youth international, will be looking to earn a scholarship deal at Arsenal ahead of next season.

The prospect is the third member of the U16 squad to be drafted into the U18s this season after goalkeepers Brian Okonkwo and Alexei Rojas Fedorushchenko were called up recently.

  1. Thanks for that Jeorge, it’s good to see that the academy is still sourcing young players from the EU and beyond, I thought we couldn’t sign young EU players until they were 18 since the UK left the Eurozone, can you maybe expand on that and explain how it differs now, cheers?

    1. I think he has been living in England for a long time and has been part of the academy for a while. It’s difficult to sign players from abroad.
