Ben Sheaf back at Arsenal for treatment and set to miss rest of season after suffering hip injury on loan at Coventry City

Ben Sheaf has returned to Arsenal for treatment after suffering a hip injury on loan at Coventry City.

As reported by The Coventry Telegraph, Sheaf is unlikely to play again for Coventry this season.

The midfielder has played 31 times for Coventry, although he lost his place as a regular starter earlier in the campaign.

Coventry had an obligation to buy Sheaf if he made an undisclosed amount of appearances, but it remains to be seen if they will be signing him permanently.

Sheaf, who has played twice for the Arsenal first-team, has previously had loan spells at Stevenage and Doncaster Rovers.
