Three players from Arsenal’s U23 squad have been named on the bench for tonight’s Europa League quarter-final, second leg tie away to Slavia Prague.
Goalkeeper James Hillson is included in a first-team matchday squad for the first time, with striker Folarin Balogun and midfielder Miguel Azeez also called up.
Hillson initially joined Arsenal on loan in 2019 before making the deal permanent later that year.
The 20-year-old, who was previously at Reading, has had to be patient for opportunities at Arsenal – he has made just three appearances for the U23s having previously played twice for the U18s.
Balogun is back involved with the first-team for the first time since December, having reportedly signed a new contract with the club.
Azeez, meanwhile, has been on the bench for the last two games and will hope to make his second competitive senior appearance.
