Arsenal beat Chelsea to signing of Manchester City youngster Henry Timi Davies

Arsenal have made another addition to their scholarship intake for next season by bringing in midfielder Henry Timi Davies.

According to Rising Ballers, Arsenal fended off competition from Chelsea to sign the 16-year-old.

Davies has reportedly signed a one year scholarship deal with the guarantee of a three-year professional contract thereafter.

The prospect was previously signed by City after being spotted playing at grassroots level.

Arsenal have been busy preparing their scholarship intake ahead of next season, with Hale End products Bradley Ibrahim, Mathaeus Roberts, Elian Quesada-Thorn and Tino Quamina having all been offered deals. In addition, forward Amani Richards has joined from Chelsea and defender Reuell Walters, who was previously at Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United, was signed last year.

  1. Not on twitter but read a comment asking why you would sign another player at the age of 16 that another team had rejected. Imagine that? how old was Ian Wright when he got his chance. I remember blocking him out in a cup cup at Greenwich, little did I know I would go on to worship the ground he walked on

    1. Well done Timmy Time !! I always knew you were a star in the making and hopefully this is just the start of a long successful career. You are truly a great player and person too ! Throughly deserved. !!!
