Arsenal add Deyan Iliev and Omar Rekik to Premier League squad

Arsenal have submitted their updated Premier League squad for the second half of the season.

Deyan Iliev, who is back from a loan spell at Shrewsbury Town, has been added to the senior list, while January arrival Omar Rekik is on the U21 list.

Martin Odegaard and Mat Ryan have also been added to the senior list.

Arsenal didn’t have to leave any players out except the senior players that are on loan (Ainsley Maitland-Niles, Konstantinos Mavropanos, Lucas Torreira, Sead Kolasinac, Ben Sheaf and Jordi Osei-Tutu).

First-team players Reiss Nelson, Eddie Nketiah, Bukayo Saka, Emile Smith Rowe and Gabriel Martinelli are all on the U21 list.

  1. On the U21 list, I’m curious who will not qualify next season, and of those would any also not qualify as home grown, meaning that they would need to displace one of the current crop of 17 non-home grown senior player
