Arsenal held their final first-team training session today ahead of tomorrow’s Premier League game at home to Southampton, with three academy players in attedance.

Strikers Folarin Balogun and Nikolaj Moller were both involved, as was midfielder Miguel Azeez. The fact that the latter trained with the senior squad suggests that he didn’t travel with the U18s for tonight’s FA Youth Cup third round tie away to Rotherham United.

David Luiz, who hasn’t played since his clash of heads with Wolverhampton Wanderers striker Raul Jimenez, took a full part in the session.

Nicolas Pepe is available again, but Granit Xhaka and Hector Bellerin are both suspended, while Thomas Partey is injured and Reiss Nelson remains doubtful.
