Loan report – Torreira scores, Guendouzi makes debut, Iliev suffers injury

Lucas Torreira was brought on in the 85th minute and scored just four minutes later as Atletico Madrid beat Osasuna 3-1.

Matteo Guendouzi made his Hertha Berlin debut, coming on in the 57th minute of a 1-1 draw with Wolfsburg. He was booked.

Deyan Iliev is set to be out ‘for a few weeks’ with a muscle injury, reports Lewis Cox. The goalkeeper missed Shrewsbury’s 5-1 loss to Peterborough.

Tolaji Bola played the full game as Rochdale drew 1-1 with Bristol Rovers.

Mark McGuinness played the whole game and helped Ipswich Town to keep a clean sheet in their 1-0 win versus Crewe Alexandra.

Harry Clarke played the entirety of Oldham Athletic’s 2-0 defeat to Salford City.

Zech Medley played the whole of Gillingham’s 2-0 loss to Sunderland. Trae Coyle came on in the 87th minute.

James Olayinka played 90 minutes in Southend United’s 2-0 loss to Port Vale.

Ben Sheaf played the whole game for Coventry City in their 3-2 win against Reading.

Matt Smith played the whole of Swindon Town’s 2-1 win against Hull City.

Tom Smith played the full game as Dover Athletic lost 1-0 to Altrincham.

Konstantinos Mavropanos missed out through injury as Stuttgart drew 1-1 with Schalke.

Jordi Osei-Tutu missed Cardiff City’s 3-2 loss to QPR because of injury.

Daniel Ballard was absent due to suspension as Blackpool beat Burton Albio 2-1.

Zak Swanson wasn’t involved as MVV Maastricht drew 1-1 with Helmond Sport.

Injury meant that Tyreece John-Jules didn’t feature in Doncaster Rovers’ 1-0 win versus Lincoln City.

  1. Quite a few of the lads are getting motm awards, which at the levels they are playing you would expect.

    I would liked to have seen more of them pushed into the championship, but I guess it’s getting minutes under your belt that is more important.
