James Olayinka has become the latest Arsenal youngster to head out on loan, with the midfielder joining Southend United until January 27th.
Olayinka gained experience on loan at Northampton Town in the second half of last season, helping them to secure promotion to League One via the play-offs, although his playing time was restricted by injury and the coronavirus pandemic.
The 20-year-old, who has featured for Arsenal at first-team level in friendlies, is now set to gain further experience in League Two and will hope to feature regularly.
He could make his debut for Southend away to Salford on Tuesday night.
