Emile Smith Rowe emerged off the bench to score the winner as Huddersfield Town beat West Bromwich Albion 2-1 today.
Former Arsenal player Chris Willock had given Huddersfield the lead before Dara O’Shea levelled for West Brom.
Smith Rowe was introduced to the fray in the 71st minute and scored in the 86th minute as he made an impressive run prior to finishing adroitly.
The goal is the second that Smith Rowe has scored in his 18 appearances for Huddersfield and makes it likely that his temporary side will retain their Championship status.
Smith Rowe has one more game remaining of his loan spell – away to Millwall on Wednesday.
