George Lewis arrives in London with his agent ahead of potential Arsenal move

George Lewis has arrived in London as he looks to put the finishing touches to his move to Arsenal.

The winger, who previously played for Fram Larvik, was accompanied by his agent for the trip to England.

Born in Rwanda but eligible to play for Norway, Lewis impressed while on trial at Arsenal earlier this year.

The 20-year-old is expected to go into Arsenal’s U23 squad for next season.

Steve Bould’s side are in need of another winger following the departure of Nathan Tormey, who turned down the offer of a three year contract.

  1. Rob Holding potentially a TOP centre half just needs game time, his injury set him back but he is now showing his full potential. Holding is the answer to our soft centre.

  2. Holding may do well for arsenal at some point in the future as a backup player. We need a player like upermencarno to come in along side saliba, we can’t keep thinking any of our defenders are good enough. I would keep holding though because he’ll be a good backup player. Why we sign David Luiz is behond my thinking, he had cost us champions league football since the start up and him alone. We need to sell and replace mastafi, sokritas, Chambers, Cedric soars isn’t good enough to replace Bellerin if he want to leave, which is looking likely. Thomas party is a must for us. There’s so much to sort out, not sure one window is enough.

    1. What has Upamecano ever done? He hasn’t even played in the premier league yet and is seriously overrated by our fanbase. I’m not saying he isn’t good, but he’s got a long way to go yet. We should be looking for someone around Holding’s age (25-27 years old) who can guide Saliba and improve him while they play together out on the pitch. We don’t really want to young guys playing at the same time in the premier league, the Bundesliga isn’t as tough. It was a mistake to extend David Luiz, but I guess we signed him because we’re broke. I’m not really convinced Bellerin is better then Cedric or Maitland-Niles, to be honest. Thomas Partey signing should be our top priority.

  3. Ok, everyone is on about Partey, what has He ever done and what will he add to our midfield.
Torreira was our man every Arsenal fan was licking their lips, Arteta doesn’t even play him, why do we waste money on Partey when we can spend the money on a proper dribbler like a Coman from Bayern, Hazard type of player, that’s what we seriously lack. Too much focus is on our defence but we can’t just have passers of the ball without dribblers. Very Essential
