Lucas Perez played the whole game as Deportivo La Coruna drew 0-0 with Leganes.

Chuba Akpom played the full game as Sint-Truiden lost 3-2 to Eupen.

Kelechi Nwakali played 90 minutes as MVV Maastricht drew 1-1 with OSS.

Joel Campbell came on in the 83rd minute as Real Betis drew 0-0 with Atletico Madrid.

Marc Bola played the entirety of Bristol Rovers’ 2-0 defeat to Rotherham United.

Ben Sheaf played the full game in midfield as Stevenage were beaten 3-1 by Coventry City.

Emiliano Martinez was an unused substitute as Getafe beat Eibar 1-0.

JOEL CAMPBELL – Atletico v Real Betis

Takuma Asano wasn’t involved as Stuttgart beat Werder Bremen 2-0.

Carl Jenkinson and Cohen Bramall weren’t involved as Birmingham City beat Sheffield United 2-1.

Stephy Mavididi wasn’t involved as Charlton Athletic beat Portsmouth 1-0.

Julio Pleguezuelo wasn’t involved as Gimnastic Tarragona drew 0-0 with Numancia.

Jeff Reine-Adelaide missed out through injury as Angers lost 2-0 to Toulouse.

Krystian Bielik missed out through injury as Walsall lost 1-0 to Scunthorpe United.

Tafari Moore missed out through injury as Wycombe Wanderers lost 4-0 to Accrington Stanley.

  1. Does anyone think any of these loaners has a future with Arsenal Football Club?

    Personally, I only see that the best players are actually at the club, whilst those on loan are actually being put in the shop window. They certainly aren’t out for development, because most of them are not even playing.

    Thoughts???

  2. Kelechi Nwakali and Takumo Asano have work permit issues, so maybe until they’re allowed to play in the UK we aren’t really going to know about them?

    Bramall going to Birmingham has been a complete waste of time, surely Arsenal have to insist that the clubs loaning our players are going to have to use them, or else what’s the point?

    Bielik is injured so it’s not fair to judge him, Mavididi has been hit by injuries as well.

    Lucas Perez should have stayed at Arsenal, his value must have fallen off of a cliff.

    I like Ben Sheaf, I think that he could do ok for us, but getting a chance is going to be difficult.

    Maybe the new manager will have different priorities and be looking for different player types, so a big summer ahead for many players at the club….
