Arsenal U18s returned to action today in the Premier League Cup, with Kwame Ampadu’s side overcoming Wolverhampton Wanderers with a 4-2 victory at London Colney.

The young Gunners lost their previous game in this competition away to Manchester United but got off to a flying start on this occasion and established a four-goal lead prior to the interval.

Tyreece John-Jules scored a brace, with Folarin Balogun and Harry Clarke also getting on the scoresheet.

Wolves attempted to stage a comeback in the second half and managed to score twice but there was no repeat of Arsenal’s capitulation against United as the game ended 4-2 to Ampadu’s side.

Arsenal’s next game in this tournament is away to Stoke City in December.

Arsenal: Virginia; Clarke, Ballard, Medley, Thompson; Omole, Benson; Saka, John-Jules, Smith Rowe; Balogun.
